Dekmantel's Eye-Opening Shows

Today Dekmantel starts off with a bang, having invited artists such as Cabaret Voltaire (for their inaugural appearance at Dekmantel), avant-garde and live instrumentalist duo Burnt Friedman & Krautrock Can founder Jaki Liebezeit, James Holden (live with a band), Tony Allen (live with band) and Shackleton & Ernesto Tomasini live to play in Amsterdam's city central right by the river (having even provided Festival Ferries to transport attendees to and from concert halls across the river), before the weekend moves to the woods.

Music aside, they've organised a screening of the documentary ‘Industrial Soundtracks Of The Urban Decay’, which traces the history of industrial music, taking the audience through "crumbling industrial cities of Europe to America's thriving avant-garde scene". During the screening, look out for appearances from Cabaret Voltaire. On screen and live on stage, Cabaret Voltaire is not one to miss today!
